PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared image guide device allowing a guide to a true target, even in a situation where a large number of target candidates is extracted in infrared image information, when the target exists on the ground or the like, so as to be difficult to select the true target, in the infrared image guide device. SOLUTION: This infrared image guide device is provided with an infrared camera for obtaining the infrared image information, a signal processing part for extracting the target candidates from the infrared image information, a laser range finder for measuring a distance up to each of the target candidates by a laser, an inertia calculating part for calculating own position and own attitude angle, a distance calculating part for calculating a position of each of target object candidates, a position database storing a target object position, and a target selecting part for comparing the positions of the target object candidates calculated by the distance calculating part with the distance calculating part stored in the distance calculating part to select the target object candidate.
