PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass spectrometry apparatus capable of restraining contamination of a mass spectrometer from being generated, and capable of preventing detection sensitivity from getting worse, when measuring an unknown concentration of liquid sample. SOLUTION: In this liquid chromatograph mass spectrometry apparatus, the mass spectrometer starts measurement by a sample injection signal from an autosampler, and judges whether a peak exceeding a reference peak M is measured during the measurement or not. The mass spectrometer stops ionization of the sample when the peak exceeding the reference peak M is measured, and transmit an indication to reduce the sample concentration. The mass spectrometer judges whether the n number or more of peaks exceeding a reference peak m is measured or not when the peak exceeding the reference peak M is not measured. The mass spectrometer transmits an indication to increase the sample concentration when the n number or more of peaks exceeding the reference peak m is not measured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
