PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for solving a level difference of a curtain rail which solves the level difference of a connecting metal fitting which causes catching of a curtain in the case of opening and closing it in the connected curtain rail. SOLUTION: This method comprises: an adhesive tape sticking process of sticking an adhesive tape 4 of a prescribed length to the outside near the connecting part of the curtain rail 1; an adhesive tape cut-off process of cutting the adhesive tape 4 stuck to the curtain rail 1 at the center position of the curtain rail 1 in its longitudinal direction with a cutter 4; and an adhesive tape fold-in process of folding the cut-off adhesive tape 4 into the inside of the curtain rail 1 with a fold-in tool 6.
