A wireless sensor network system for improving the efficiency of energy consumption and a communication method in the wireless sensor network are provided to select an arbitrary node among existing collecting nodes and sensing nodes within an identical cluster and update the arbitrary node by the new collecting node of a corresponding cluster, thereby extending the life span of the wireless sensor network if possible and improving energy efficiency by applying a sector antenna in the collecting nodes. A wireless sensor network system includes collectivized clusters(10,20,30) comprising plural sensing nodes(110~140,210~240,310~340) and plural collecting nodes(100,200,300) which collect information data transmitted from the sensing nodes(110~140,210~240,310~340) and applications which receive information data transmitted from the collecting nodes(100,200,300) through a base station(40). The sensing nodes(110~140,210~240,310~340) and collecting nodes(100,200,300) additionally include ID units which add the ID of a corresponding node to the information data transmitted to the applications. The applications additionally includes an ID reading module which reads an ID added to the information data and confirms the originating nodes(100,110) of corresponding information data and a collecting node determination module which selects an arbitrary node among the existing collecting nodes(100,200,300) and sensing nodes(110~140,210~240,310~340) within the same cluster and updates the arbitrary node by the new collecting node of a corresponding cluster. |
