A transfer apparatus for a container packaging system is provided to stably pivot the proceeding direction of a fed container to transfer the container. A transfer apparatus for a container packaging system includes a bed(10), a feeding plate(20), a rack gear(50), and a pinion(40). One way clutch is provided in the pinion. The pinion is rotated in connection with a rotational shaft in the case of a forward rotation due to forward movement of the rack gear. The pinion idles in the case of a rearward movement so that the rotational shaft in which the feeding plate is installed can be reversely rotated.
