<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element in which a current diffusion layer is formed by using a material capable of making the formation of the diffusion layer easier than a conventional material, so that a current supplied from an upper electrode is diffused sufficiently sideways by an easier method to improve light extraction efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting element comprises a first conductive board 1; a light-emitting layer composed of a first conductive first clad layer 3, a second conductive second clad layer 5, and an active layer 4 formed between the first and second clad layers 3, 5; and a layer 11 which is formed on the light-emitting layer and made of at least one layer of a charge-transfer complex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
