<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator facility enabling energy saving without deteriorating service to passengers when hand rails are heated. <P>SOLUTION: This elevator facility is provided with the hand rails 2, 4 arranged inside a car 1 and/or in the vicinity of an entrance in a landing and a heater 3 for heating the hand rails 2, 4. The elevator facility is further provided with a heating time set means 7 operated when an elevator starting switch 5 is turned on and setting heating time of the heater 3. Since this constitution prevents inexecution of heating of the hand rails 2, 4 due to forgetting to turn on the switch 5, deterioration of service to users can be prevented. Moreover, since the hand rails 2, 4 are heated only when necessary, consumption of waste electric power can be prevented and energy saving effects can be achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
