<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving the cycling characteristics even under any high-temperature environments, and a negative electrode used for this battery. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode 10 contains a binding agent comprising a component unit represented as (-CF<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>-), a component unit represented as (-CF=CH-), and a component unit represented as (-CH=CH-). In the gas chromatogram obtained by the temperature rising thermal decomposition-based gas chromatography mass spectroscopy, a ratio of the value obtained by the integration over 280 to 420°C to that obtained by the integration over 420 to 680°C is 5 percents or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
