PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission network capable of optionally selecting a destination and transferring data.

SOLUTION: The tree-structured signal transmission network having a plurality of nodes for transmitting signals and a partial path for connecting two nodes includes an edge device 120 being a node provided on the end and transmitting/receiving a signal. The edge device 120 includes an HDD 330 for storing destination-classified data 335, 336 into buffers 331, 332 classified per destination destined to another edge device 120; a data selection order deciding means 345 for deciding an order of reading the destination-classified data 335, 336 from the HDD 330 on the basis of a predetermined data selecting method; and a communication control means 347 for outputting a signal in which the data read from the HDD 330 are superimposed in a predetermined transfer time so that the signal can be transmitted/received to/from the destination.
