PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide opaque glitter particles that are uniform in size and shape and have optically variable colors with a change in angle of incident light. SOLUTION: The glitter particles have an organic substrate and an optical interference structure on one side or both sides of the organic substrate.
