PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of avoiding the image quality of a medium tone original image and TTI (Transmitter Terminal Identification) information from being deteriorated in the case of applying reduction processing to the medium tone original image. SOLUTION: A control section divides binary image data of the original image with the TTI information attached thereto into a TTI data region including the TTI information and a remaining original image data region. An image processing section converts the binary image data in the original image data region into multi-value image data, and reduces the multi-value image data by simple thinning processing. Further, the image processing section converts the reduced multi-value image data into binary image data by pseudo medium tone processing. The control section records the TTI information and the original image on one recording paper sheet on the basis of the binary image data in the TTI data region and the binary image data in the original image data region.
