PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material containing a photosensitive silver halide emulsion having high sensitivity, low fog, excellent light stability of an image and excellent raw stock preservability, and capable of maintaining high sensitivity and low fog even after long-term storage. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has on a support the photosensitive emulsion containing non-photosensitive silver salt of aliphatic carboxylic acid particles and photosensitive silver halide grains, a reducing agent for silver ions, a binder and a crosslinking agent, wherein the photosensitive silver halide grains are surface latent image type grains before heat development and change to internal latent image type grains after heat development, and the silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has a layer containing at least one compound represented by formula (1).
