PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque-detecting device capable of performing inexpensive, high stiffness, and precise torque detection. SOLUTION: Sensing means of bending moment are provided at two places in total, which are separated L<SB>1</SB>and L<SB>2</SB>from a rotation center of torque on a lever arm section. By setting respective section moduli of sensing positions to be Z<SB>1</SB>, Z<SB>2</SB>, the ratio k of the section moduli is k=Z<SB>2</SB>/Z<SB>1</SB>=L<SB>2</SB>/L<SB>1</SB>, addition of elelments for operation is avoided.
