PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trim cover assembling method, favorably performing covering work even if the shape of a trim cover assembly is bag-like to almost cover the back of a seat pad. SOLUTION: This trim cover assembling method includes: a process of fitting a lateral trim wire and rotatably two vertical trim wires attached to both end parts of the lateral trim wire to the back of a bag-like trim cover to be put on the seat pad to make the trim cover assembly; a process of connecting the lateral trim wire to a lateral insert wire buried in the seat pad; a process of rolling up the lower side part in the trim cover assembly to put the trim cover assembly on the seat pad; and a process of putting the lower side part of the trim cover assembly on the seat pad, and connecting the lower side parts of the vertical trim wires to vertical insert wires buried in the seat pad by hog rings.
