PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that replacing a dust collecting filter incorporated inside a main body makes it difficult to attach/detach the filter from the front side as the filter has a large volume and requires a large space in an air passage. SOLUTION: A hand dryer is provided with a main body case that is equipped with an inside fan motor unit and a dust collecting unit. The front side of the fan motor unit is covered with a front cover and a drain tank is provided at the bottom of the main body case on the front side. The dust collecting filter unit is installed above the drain tank and the front cover of the filter unit is also used as the front cover of the drain tank. When the drain tank is removed the filter of the filter unit can be attached to/detached from the front side of the main body case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
