PREPARATION METHOD FOR RUBBER NANO COMPOUND WITH LAYERED SILICATE

Provided are a method for preparing a rubber nanocomposite, a rubber nanocomposite prepared by the method which is improved in mechanical properties, a rubber composition for a tire containing the rubber nanocomposite, and a tire comprising the rubber nanocomposite. The method comprises the steps of melting rubber; mixing 100 parts by weight of the molten rubber with 5-15 parts by weight of layered silicate at a temperature of 100-145 deg.C with a shear rate of 50-200/sec and a shear stress of 50-400 J/kg for 500-2,500 sec; mixing the mixture at a temperature of 60-70 deg.C to prepare an unvulcanized rubber/layered silicate nanocomposite; and vulcanizing the rubber/layered silicate nanocomposite. Preferably the rubber is molten under the condition of a shear rate of 40-200 /sec and a shear stress of 50-400 J/kg for 100-400 sec.
