<p>A height lock device for a vehicle seat has a height adjustment mechanism (10) provided between a bracket (70) fixed to a vehicle body (2) and the vehicle seat (1), a guide plate (42) fixed to the vehicle seat (1), and a gear plate (60) fixed to the bracket (70). A pair of lock arms (52, 52) is arranged on the guide plate (42), and the lock arms (52, 52) engage with the gear plate (60) when a load in an emergency is applied to a seatbelt (30) of a seated person. The lock arms (52, 52) are pivotally installed in position by lock shafts (51, 51) inserted with play into shaft holes (50, 50) that are provided in the guide plate (42).</p> |
