An apparatus and a method for removing interference between transmission and reception channels according to the same channel relay of terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and a gap filler using the same are provided to reduce an error generated by interference by coupling between transmission and reception channels without distantly separating a physical distance between the transmission and reception channels. An A/D converting unit(415) converts a received signal into a digital signal. A filter(425) filters and extracts an error signal due to interference between input and output signals which is included in the converted digital signal. A coefficient calculating unit(420) receives the converted digital signal, and calculates a coefficient used in the filter(425). A mixing unit(430) mixes the filtered error signal with the converted digital signal. A D/A converting unit(435) converts the mixed signal into an analog signal.
