A broadcast reserving server for providing a broadcast reservation service and an operation method of the server are provided to solve a problem that the current contents server does not provide a reservation service, so a user cannot watch a broadcast provided at a particular time. A mobile terminal of a user is connected with a broadcast reservation server through the wired/wireless Internet and transmits broadcast reservation information(201). The broadcast reservation server receives the broadcast reservation information from the mobile terminal and records it in a reservation information database correspondingly to number information of the mobile terminal(202). The reservation information database is parsed to read broadcast reservation information corresponding to current time information among broadcast time information of the broadcast reservation information which has been inputted by the user(203). The broadcast reservation server generates a push message corresponding to the broadcast reservation information, and controls to transmit the generated push message to the mobile terminal(204). The mobile terminal is connected with a contents server and requests a broadcast signal(205).
