The object of the invention is to provide an operation control device for a saddle type motor vehicle that can control driving force in response to the weight shift of a rider in addition to the operation of the throttle grip. The operation control device calculates a throttle grip rotation torque element (TH') using a throttle grip rotation torque sensor (11) and a throttle grip rotation torque operator (34), and a pseudo operation degree element (TH) for a throttle grip by integration using a throttle grip pseudo opening degree operator (36). A handle load sensor (12) and a handle load operator (38) detect a handle load (FF). Right and left step load sensors (13, 14) and right and left step load operators (40, 41) detect right and left step loads (FR, FL). A weight shift element operator (42) calculates a weight shift element (F). A target throttle opening degree (THtarget) is determined in consideration of these elements, and a throttle valve is rotated by PID control.
