A cylindrical insulating housing has a pot-shaped electrode (6) and an inner electrode (5) separated through a spark gap (7). The spark gap breaks down when a high voltage is applied, for emitting the microwaves. The inner electrode engages over the pot-shaped electrode on the outside and at a distance over a length portion of pot-shaped electrode with a bottom section (10) concurrently forming a termination of housing. |
