A tractor (2) drawn hay-making machine (2) has a draw bar (8) with a wheel (15) supported A-frame (19, 20) with outrigger arms for rotors (12-14). The two side arms pivot (18) with respect to the central draw bar. When in operation the rotors are positioned to the maximum possible lateral extension. During road transport (6) the side-arms are re-aligned parallel with the draw bar.
