<p>Machine (1) for sealing bottles, glasses or similar containers with sealing or screw caps has several sealing positions arranged along the periphery of a rotor rotating about a vertical machine axis. Each sealing position has a container carrier (4) and a screw shaft (7) rotating about an axis and provided at a lower end with a screw head (8). Each screw shaft is driven by its own drive motor (5). An assembly space (13) rotating with a main column (9) is formed above the sealing positions. An independent claim is also included for a process for operating the above sealing machine.</p> |
