A method and a system for controlling an IC card are provided to quickly and conveniently control the IC card by turning on or off an RF(Radio Frequency) communication control function without using a physical way, as a data storing part, a controller, and a signal definer are installed to one side of the IC card. The data storing part(100) stores a working pat related to turning-on/off of an RF function, and working path data, and stores credit card information, boarding/leaving/transfer particulars, and electronic cash information. The signal definer(120) includes a definition value to discriminate whether a signal received from an interface device(130) or a terminal is an initialization signal for turning on/off the RF function, or a general work processing signal, calculates definition for the signal by using the definition value, and outputs a result to the controller(110). The controller controls the data storing part and the signal definer. The interface device includes an RF function control program, is attached/detached from the IC card, and transceives the data with the IC card through the RF communication. |
