A manhole cover is provided to reduce the load by covering glass fiber nonwoven fabric on the surfaces of a cast iron core and to improve beauty of the road by forming a luminous indicating plate and patterns on the cover. A manhole cover(1) comprises a lattice-shaped spheroidal graphite cast iron core(13); a glass fiber nonwoven fabric(12) covered on the upper and lower surfaces of the spheroidal graphite cast iron core; and a lower pressure molding epoxy resin composite(11) coated on the upper and lower surfaces of the outer side of the glass fiber nonwoven fabric and pressed/heated. The molten lower pressure molding epoxy resin composite has a surface layer, and some of the composite is infiltrated in the glass fiber nonwoven fabric and filled in the lattice space of the spheroidal graphite cast iron core. A luminous indicating plate is placed on the upper part of the cover. Various patterns are formed on the upper part of the cover.
