A plasma display device is provided to transmit heat generated from a driver IC to a chassis base by inserting a thin film sheet having a hole between a TCP(Tape Carrier Package) and a chassis base. A plasma display panel is attached to one side of a chassis base(16). A circuit board assembly is attached to the other side of the chassis base. A driver IC package is used for connecting electrically an electrode of the plasma display panel with the circuit board assembly in order to apply a voltage selectively to the electrode of the plasma display panel according to a control signal from the circuit board assembly. A thin film sheet(40) is inserted between the chassis base and the driver IC package and includes a hole formed at a position corresponding to a driver IC. A cover plate(32) is used for attaching closely the driver IC to the chassis base.
