An air bag device for a driver seat is provided to improve user convenience by permitting an air bag cushion to be maintained at a constant position so that the position of an audio remote controller is maintained at a constant position. An air bag device for a driver seat, comprises an air bag mounting unit(12) arranged at a center of a steering wheel(10); an air bag module(14) mounted on the air bag mounting unit in such a manner that the air bag module is relatively movable with respect to the steering wheel; a weight arranged in a lower portion of the air bag module so as to maintain the vertical position of the air bag module at a constant position; and a bearing(20) interposed between the air bag mounting unit and the air bag module so that the air bag module rotates independently from the rotation of the steering wheel.
