<p>The analysis method provides a fault cell analysis after a given number of cell blocks, using a signal splitter (4) for diverting the asynchronous transfer mode cell stream from the signal transmission path (2) to an analysis system (6), transmitting the results of the analysis to a personal computer containing software (8) for further analysis and storage of the analysis results on a hard disc. An Independent claim for a device for asynchronous transfer mode analysis of a transmission path is also included.</p> |
