A thermal storage type air conditioner is provided to additionally employ function units for controlling refrigerant flow according to operation conditions. A thermal storage type air conditioner includes an outdoor unit(100), at least one or more indoor units(400), and at least one or more thermal storage units(300) having thermal storage heat exchangers for storing energy. At least one or more function units(200) are connected to the outdoor unit and the thermal storage units. All the units are separative from each other and individually mounted. The function units have auxiliary channels(210) for guiding refrigerant, wherein auxiliary heat exchangers(212) and auxiliary pumps(214) are mounted to the auxiliary channels for forcible circulation of refrigerant, and a plurality of valves(216,218) are mounted at both ends of the auxiliary channels for controlling refrigerant flows according to operation conditions.
