DRY TYPE TRANSFORMER HAVING COIL PROTECTION MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A dry type transformer having coil protection materials and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent direct contact between a high pressure coil and sharp edges of a comb spacer by using a coil protection member. A dry type transformer includes a plurality of comb spacers(110). The comb spacer is formed with a plurality of ribs(110A) and a backbone body(110B). The comb spacers are installed along a circumferential direction of a high-low pressure bobbin(130) in order to wind a high pressure coil around a predetermined part between the ribs. A coil protection member(140) having a cavity is inserted into the outside of the rib in order to prevent direct contact between the high pressure coil and an edge of the rib.
