PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining two members by which plate parts of two members which each have a stainless steel plate part are laid over the other and joined with a ring projection welding, and excellent joining strength and sealing characteristic of the joined part are obtained. SOLUTION: A projection 23 of which the top part is nearly flat and continuous in an annular shape is formed on the plate part 22 of one of members 20. The width of the top part of the projection 23 is not smaller that t (mm) and not larger than 2t (mm), where t (mm) stands for the thickness of the plate part 22. Further, the projection 23 is laid over the plate part of the other member 10 so as to comes into contact with the plate part of the other member 10, and the ring projection welding is performed by impressing while two members 10 and 20 are pressurized. |
