A method and a device for managing arithmetic purchase in a mobile terminal are provided to enable a user to conveniently purchase articles by making/storing an item name list of a shopping list table with link between the mobile terminal and a computer, and storing price/item name data read from an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag attached to the article to the shopping list table. A memory(70) stores multiple shopping list tables. A controller(10) downloads the shopping list table storing the item names from the computer(120) through the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port(60), stores the downloaded shopping list table to the memory, displays the stored shopping list table according to a user selection, and displays the data inputted to an input area selected by the user among the input areas forming the shopping list table. If the price data is included in the inputted data, the controller provides a value by calculating the inputted price data. An RFID reader(50) reads and outputs the data of the RFID tag(110) placed within an RF transceiving range. An image/character processor(20) extracts text data corresponding to character information included in image data inputted from a camera(30). |
