An image forming device for performing continuous printing and a continuous printing method thereof are provided to fully secure time waiting for a printing command of a next page and prevent unnecessary driving of a motor of a printing engine part by flexibly changing a waiting time until printing of the next page depending on the size of printing data. A printing controller(210) converts the printing data received from a host device(100) into image data and sequentially transfers the printing command for each page. A continuous printing part(220) determines the continuous printing by considering the time among data conversion time, the preset time, and an interval between the sequentially received printing commands. The printing engine part(230) prints the next page in case that the continuous printing is determined. The continuous printing part includes a counter(222) calculating the first counter value for the data conversion time and the third counter value for the interval, a calculator(224) counting the second count value by adding the first count value and a fixed counter value, and a comparator(226) determining the continuous printing if the second count value is over the third counter value.
