A water-resistant(waterproof) paper(film) for photo printer is provided to secure good hardness of an ink receiving layer, surface flatness, and transparency by minimizing the content of a filler in the ink receiving layer, to increase ink absorption speed, and to prevent the ink from being spread. A film for an inkjet printer has an ink receiving layer(2) formed on at least one surface of a resin base film(1). A coating liquid composition forming the ink receiving layer consists of a binder comprising vinylpyrrolidone and acryl copolymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone homopolymer, and polyvinylalcohol homopolymer, a filler comprising silica, a mixed solvent(5) of alcohol and clay homopolymer, and various additives. Therefore, the film has water-resistant(waterproof) effect by selectively laminating water, clay homopolymer and alcohol.
