摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate variations of an object detection axis, in a direction relative to a casing of a radar device and carry out aiming accurately. <P>SOLUTION: The casing 32, which connects a connection face P2 of a flange 32c to a connection face P1 of a frame 34 in a radar mechanism 33, is composed of a casing body 32a which is in a form of a regular twenty polygon prism with a slant center line. The casing 32 is rotated, up to a prescribed position such that reference faces A0-A10 parallel to the slant direction of the object detection axis Ar in the radar mechanism 33 form an upper surface of the casing 32, and is connected to the radar mechanism 33. Then, the mounting angle at which the radar device is mounted on a car body, is adjusted so that the reference faces A0-A10 forming the upper surface are set to be horizontal. Therefore, even if the variation of the object detection axis Ar in the radar mechanism 33 caused by manufacturing is present, variations can be compensated, and aiming can be accurately carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
