<p>The invention relates to a device for prognosing at least the orientation of a vessel. The device comprises at least two course meters at different locations along the length of the vessel. The device also comprises computing means connected to the course meters for generating, on the basis of courses of each of the course meters measured by the course meters, at least one prognosed position of each of the course meters after a preselected period of time, and for determining at least one prognosed position and orientation of the vessel on the basis of prior knowledge of the positions of the course meters along the length of the vessel.</p> |
