Data packets of several connections (bearers) are transmitted between a base station (BS) and a mobile station (MS) via a radio interface. On the transmitter side, an individual queue is designated for each connection for the data packets to be transmitted. The sequence of transmission of data packets from the queues is determined in accordance with parameters pertaining to individual queues. The priority of queues with data packets to be transmitted repeatedly is higher than that of queues without data packets to be transmitted repeatedly.
