A plasma display panel is provided to reduce line resistance and lower a breakdown voltage by forming a metal electrode with a plurality of line parts. A front substrate and a rear substrate are arranged opposite to each other. A plurality of address electrodes are formed on one of the front and rear substrates. A plurality of barrier ribs are positioned in a space between the front and rear substrates in order to form discharge cells. Phosphor layers are formed within the discharge cells. A first and second electrodes are arranged opposite to each other on the front substrate in order to form a discharge gap. A dielectric layer is formed to bury the first and second electrodes. A plurality of lines parts are extended across the address electrodes. A plurality of extensions(21a,23b) are connected with ends of the line parts.
