PSEUDO-DIFFERENTIAL CURRENT MODE RECEIVING METHOD AND CURRENT MODE RECEIVER FOR THE SAME

A method for receiving a pseudo-differential current mode and a current mode receiver for the same are provided to reduce mismatch case between reference current and data current, and effectively receive a current mode signal with low input resistance. The first buffer(210) generates the buffered data current by buffering the received data current. The second buffer(220) has the realistically same structure as the first buffer and generates the buffered reference current by buffering the received reference current. A current copier(230) generates the replicated reference current by copying the buffered reference current. A current/voltage converter(240) performs current/voltage conversion for a difference between the copied reference current and the buffered data current. The first and second buffer respectively includes a gain-enhanced regulated cascode buffer.
