An apparatus and a method for improving the execution speed of applications in a mobile communication terminal are provided to dynamically determine a boot order according to a mobile communication terminal usage pattern of each user and previously load applications to be executed next time, thereby making the execution speed of the applications more quickly and reducing the waste of memory resources unnecessary to a specific user. A memory unit(30) stores plural applications. A microprocessor(20) executes the applications and analyzes the executed applications, and generates a use pattern, and determines an execution order according to the use pattern, and previously loads the partial or total size of the other arbitrary application according to the priority order to be executed after the arbitrary application if an arbitrary application among the plural applications is executed according to the determined execution order.
