A dual-mode terminal and a voice synthesizing call method in the dual-mode terminal are provided to convert inputted characters into voice in real time to perform voice call communication through a wireless voice network. A TTS(Text To Speech) client unit(330) transmits input character data to a TTS server(340) through WiBro(Wireless Broadband Internet), and receives converted voice data corresponding to the input character data from the server(340). A CDMA interworking unit(310) is connected with a CDMA. A voice reproducing unit(320) transmits the converted voice data through the CDMA.
