Provided are a method for preparing a ground bait for fishing that comprises pressing powder ingredients which is ecofriendly and stimulates smell senses of fishes to obtain a solid bait, and a ground bait prepared by the method. The method comprises the steps of mixing loess, krill, fish powder, additive, and accessory additive, to obtain a mixture, processing the mixture into powder, mixing the mixture with water to form a gel, pouring the gel type of mixture into mold, and pressing the mold, and drying the pressed mixture. The first step comprises mixing 10-30 wt% of loess, 20-40 wt% of krill, 20-40 fish powder, 5-20 wt% of additive of shell and bread powder, and 5-10 wt% of accessory additive which is any one of starch, malt, sesame dregs, bean, barley, corn, or wheat powder, or mixture thereof.
