An electronic locking device is provided to reduce operation load on a driving motor by using manpower to rotate a second locking unit and using the driving motor to lock the locking unit. A body(1) is formed on a door. A locking unit(3) is mounted on and removed from a locking groove. A driving motor(4) generates a rotation force, when power is supplied thereto. Gear groups(5,6) decrease the rotation force of the driving motor and deliver the rotation force. A driving shaft(7) is connected to the gear groups and penetrated through the locking unit. A spring(8) is installed to surround the outer periphery of the driving shaft and moves the locking unit, when raised or lowered by a driving piece(71) formed on the driving shaft. A locking unit base(9) is installed to enclose the exterior of the locking unit and guides the movement of the locking unit.
