A method for restricting content use in DRM(Digital Rights Management) is provided to restrict the content use to a specific geographic location by adding an item for location information to a geographic use constraint in a use right of contents. A terminal receiving the contents and a use right for the contents checks whether the geographic use constraint for granting or denying the content use in the specific location is present in the use constraint of the use right. In case that the geographic use constraint is present, the location information of the geographic use constraint is compared with a current location value of the terminal. In the case that the current location value of the terminal is included in the location information, the contents are executed or restricted depending on the use constraint.
