A method for manufacturing sodium aluminate liquid is provided to obtain the aluminate solution with high economical advantage sufficient to be employed as water treatment agent, neutral sizing agent for paper producing, and soil hardening agent, etc. by dissolving aluminum dross, which is generated during production of aluminum ingot, in sodium hydroxide and adding alkaline salt to the solution. The method comprises: first step of adding aluminum dross in water with amount of 3-6 times by weight relative to total weight of aluminum ingredient to form aluminum mixture; second step of preparing alkaline salt solution by mixing sodium hydroxide solution and sodium silicate solution; third step of adding the alkaline salt solution to the aluminum mixture in amount of 80-120g of the salt solution relative to 100g of the aluminum material; fourth step of filtering the mixture solution from the third step to produce the sodium aluminate solution. The alkaline salt solution is prepared by adding 1-5vol.% of the sodium silicate solution to the sodium hydroxide solution. |
