A heating device and a thermal reactor for heating and gasification of urea are provided to achieve improved stability of gasification of urea in an exhaust gas line based on the rapid reaction time of a heating chamber and uniform temperature distribution in the heating chamber even immediately after turning-on of the heating device. A heating device for heating and gasification of urea, is arranged in a gas line(4) which is extended in a flow direction(S). The heating device includes at least two gas permeable heating surfaces which are spaced apart from each other in the flow direction so that the heating surfaces define a heating chamber. An inlet port is communicated to the heating chamber between the two heating surfaces, and supplies urea or urea solution into the heating chamber.
