A signal transmission device for transceiving signals between a rotary body and a fixed body are provided to remove noises and signal distortions from the signals by using light as a transmission medium. A signal transmission device is installed between a rotary body and a fixed body. The rotary body rotates relatively to the fixed body. The signal transmission device includes first and second transmission modules(100,200). The first transmission module is coaxially connected to and rotated with the rotary body. At least one transmission optical element is arranged on a virtual circular alignment reference line around a rotation axis of the first transmission module. The second transmission module is fixed on the fixed body to face the first transmission module. Reception optical elements corresponding to the transmission optical elements are arranged on a virtual alignment reference line, which corresponds to the alignment reference line of the first transmission module.
