A refrigerator door assembly and a refrigerator having the same are provided to open or close a single food storage chamber by using a pair of doors without interference therebetween, thereby preventing friction between gaskets, deformation or damage of the gaskets caused by the friction, and leakage of chilled air caused by the deformation or damage of the gaskets. A refrigerator door assembly includes a pair of main doors(210) disposed to a main body(110) of a refrigerator to face each other. The main doors are mounted with sub doors(220) rotatively coupled with the main doors, wherein the sub doors separate from the main doors of the other sides without sliding when the main doors of own sides are pulled out. The sub doors are coupled with the main door by hinges or flexible elements having elastic restoring force.
