A keyless synchronizer of a transmission is provided to simplify the structure and stabilize index action of an index spring by removing a synchronizer key and a synchronizer spring. A keyless synchronizer of a transmission comprises a sleeve(13) geared with the outer peripheral surface of a hub combined with a main shaft of the transmission of a vehicle to be moved along the shaft in gear-shifting; a synchronizer ring(14) installed at both sides of the hub to receive action along the shaft in moving the sleeve so as to synchronize with a clutch gear(15); and an elliptic index spring(20) protruded on the front end of at least sleeve tooth wider than a gap between teeth of the synchronizer and higher than the other sleeve teeth to be inserted and deformed between the teeth of the synchronizer ring prior to the other sleeve teeth in moving the sleeve so as to give the shaft-operation force to the synchronizer ring.
