METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PROTECTION LAYER FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

A method for manufacturing a protective layer for a plasma display panel and a plasma display panel provided with the same are provided to lower a breakdown voltage by increasing a secondary electron emission coefficient of a front panel. A first protection layer(708a) having a predetermined thickness is formed on an upper surface of a glass(700) including a dielectric layer(707). A second protection layer(708b) is formed on an upper surface of the first protection layer. The thickness of the second protection layer is equal to or larger than the thickness of the first protection layer. A thermal process for the second protection layer is performed.
